Pelvic, transvaginal and fertility ultrasound
Pelvic and transvaginal exams of the uterus and ovaries, plus fertility follicle scans with reports sent straight to your provider.
How it works
- Your provider faxes an order to (423) 549-5890.
- Book your exam online or call or text us.
- A registered sonographer performs your exam.
- A radiologist or perinatologist reads it, and your provider has the report within 24 hours.
Fertility Scan (Technologist Report)
Our fertility scan evaluates the endometrium and counts ovarian follicles, or whatever your provider specifies on the order. There's no radiologist read on this exam, at the ordering physician's request, so the technologist's report goes to your provider immediately. That speed matters when you're tracking a cycle.
Fertility Scan with Radiologist Read
This fertility scan evaluates the endometrium and counts ovarian follicles. Your provider gets the technologist's report immediately, followed by a formal radiologist interpretation.
Pelvic Ultrasound (Transabdominal, Non-OB)
A transabdominal pelvic ultrasound evaluates the uterus, ovaries and adnexa through the lower abdomen. Providers order it to look into pelvic pain, irregular bleeding, fibroids or ovarian cysts.
Pelvic Ultrasound (Transabdominal + Transvaginal)
A complete pelvic ultrasound uses two approaches: a transabdominal scan for the big picture, then a transvaginal scan for closer detail of the uterus, ovaries and adnexa.
Transvaginal Ultrasound (GYN)
A transvaginal ultrasound gives a more detailed view of the uterus, ovaries and adnexa than an abdominal scan alone, which helps when your provider is looking at the endometrium, small cysts or fibroids.
