Our screening fetal echocardiogram is a detailed ultrasound of your baby's heart for pregnancies with a higher chance of cardiac differences. Providers may recommend it after IVF, with a family history of congenital heart defects, with maternal diabetes, or after certain medication exposures.
The exam evaluates the heart's structures, rhythm, blood flow and function. A physician's order is required, and all images are reviewed by a perinatologist.
